Northern Explorer Loop
A green northern PCN loop linking Lower Seletar Reservoir, Sembawang Park, Admiralty Park and Woodlands Waterfront.
27 of the best cycling routes across Singapore, covering every region and every difficulty, from flat family park connectors to road climbs and MTB singletrack. Filter by region, district or difficulty, then open any route straight in Google Maps or download it as a GPX file.
Singapore is one of the world’s easiest cities to explore by bicycle: more than 300 km of Park Connector Network (PCN) link the coastlines, reservoirs and nature parks, and the 75 km Round Island Route now runs unbroken around the eastern half of the island. This guide collects the routes worth riding: the famous coastal loops, the road cyclists’ training grounds in Mandai and Kranji, the gravel Rail Corridor, and every mountain-bike trail on the island. Use the filters to find cycling routes in the north, south, east or west of Singapore, or search by district. Each route links to a detail page with a map, riding tips, the nearest MRT and a free GPX download.

Good to know
The flattest, most traffic-free options are East Coast Park, the North Eastern Riverine Loop around Punggol, the Jurassic Mile at Changi and the Bedok Reservoir Loop. All are paved park connectors with no car traffic.
The Round Island Route (Phase 1) is the longest continuous recreational route at 75 km of unbroken park connector. Experienced road cyclists go further with the unofficial full round-island loop, roughly 130–150 km around the entire country.
No. Every route has an “Open Route in Google Maps” button. Tap it and Google Maps opens with the whole route already plotted and ready to cycle, no download or sign-up needed. A GPX file is also available for riders who prefer a cycling app like Komoot or Strava, or a Garmin/Wahoo bike computer.
A GPX file is a cycling route saved as a small file that cycling apps and bike computers can open and follow. It’s the advanced option on this site; most riders can just tap “Open in Google Maps” instead.
Four dedicated options: Chestnut Nature Park (graded trail network), the technical Bukit Timah MTB Trail, beginner-friendly Mandai T15, and Ketam Mountain Bike Park on Pulau Ubin.
Keep to a maximum of 25 km/h on shared paths and keep left. Helmets are mandatory when cycling on roads and strongly recommended everywhere else. Park connectors are free to use; most are open around the clock, though some parks (like Coney Island) close at night.
