Pedal Karting: a Go-Kart Track We Set Up at Your Venue
Pedal-powered karts, no engine, on a pop-up circuit at your school, office or event. Nobody needs to know how to cycle, so every child drives on the first try. Joy rides, a road-safety skills circuit, or a mini Grand Prix where the space allows.
Why four wheels
The Wheeled Activity Where Non-Riders Aren't Left Out
Every school has students who can't cycle yet, and every corporate team has people who haven't been on a bike in years. On a pedal kart that doesn't matter. Four wheels means no balancing, so a complete beginner and a confident rider line up at the same start line and have the same fun.
We bring the karts, the helmets, the cones or tyre barriers, and the coaches who marshal it. You bring a flat open space and the participants. Karts run at pedalling speed on a one-way circuit with clear give-way points, so it's exciting to drive and easy to supervise.
Pair it with bike rental or a school cycling programme and you've got a rotation: riders on bikes, non-riders on karts, then swap.
Three ways to run it
Joy Ride, Skills Circuit, or Mini Grand Prix
Pick the format that fits your space and your crowd. All three include karts, helmets, circuit setup and coaches.
Joy Ride
Free-play laps on a cone-marked circuit. Kids drive, swap, queue up and go again. The crowd-pleaser for open days, family days and carnival stations.
Space: Any flat open space
Skills Circuit
A road-safety course on four wheels: slalom, give-way points, braking zones, a parking bay. Students learn signals and junction rules without the balance risk of a bike.
Space: Basketball court size or larger
Mini Grand Prix
Timed laps, relay heats and a podium. Runs in bigger spaces with a tyre-lined circuit, marshals and a proper start line. The format corporate teams and upper primary ask for.
Space: Large car park or field

Pedal Karting FAQs
Do the karts have engines?
No. They're pedal-powered, like a bicycle on four wheels, so speeds stay low and controllable. Kids steer with a wheel and brake with a lever or pedal; nothing to start up, nothing to run out.
Does my child need to know how to cycle?
No, and that's the point. A pedal kart has four wheels, so there's no balancing. If they can pedal and steer, they can drive, which makes it one of the few wheeled activities where a non-rider and a confident cyclist have equal fun.
How much space do you need?
A flat, open, paved area. A basketball court is enough for a joy-ride or skills circuit; a large car park or field lets us build a full mini Grand Prix circuit. Send us a photo or the venue name and we'll tell you what fits.
Is it safe?
Helmets for every driver, a cone or tyre-lined circuit with run-off, coaches marshalling every session, and a briefing before anyone drives. Karts run at pedalling speed, and we keep the circuit one-way with clear give-way points.
Can we combine it with bike rental or a cycling programme?
Yes, and it works well as a station alongside bikes: non-riders drive karts while riders cycle, then swap. Tell us your headcount and we'll build the day around both.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of karts, hours and the circuit we set up, so we quote per event. WhatsApp us your headcount, venue and date and we'll come back with a clear all-in number, and like everything else we do, helmets, setup and marshals are included in it.
Tell us your space and headcount
Send a venue name or a photo of the area, the number of participants and your date. We'll tell you which format fits and quote it all-in, helmets, setup and marshals included.
